The Campaign

Fists in Solidarity

Enhancing Equity in Agriculture and Conservation

We all share a basic human need for food, and without the dedication and hard work of farmers, this need cannot be met; therefore, supporting our farmers through equitable practices is essential for sustaining our lives and our community.

Small Plant

Promoting Environmental Justice and Education

I aim to create educational programs to empower our community with the knowledge and tools needed to sustain and protect our environment. By addressing the environmental impacts of urbanization, we can make Durham a healthier place to live for everyone, from our youngest residents to our elders.

Working Together

Increasing Economic Development and Expanding Green Jobs

Building on my work with the Black Farmers' Market, I will focus on driving economic development that supports local agriculture and the creation of green jobs. By promoting local produce and supporting farmers' markets, we can boost our local economy and ensure that fresh, healthy food is accessible to all Durham residents.
